Disclaimers & Liabilities

Although we try
our best, there is always the chance that the information needed to complete your project may not have survived the years.
Courthouses flood and burn, cost and distance may have prevented your ancestor from recording deeds, probate or vital records
in a timely fashion. Sometimes information is inaccurate. Ancestors lie or are misinformed, census takers
may misspell a family name or miss a family completely, and a dead person cannot give accurate information for his death certificate.
We cannot be held liable for incorrect conclusions based on misleading information in the records we search.
It is our policy that personal information, such as your name, address, both e-mail
and postal, or telephone number is private and confidential. The personal information you provide is used only for the purposes
for which you provide it.
Information supplied by clients for
research purposes is confidential. Information and/or documents gathered while conducting research for clients may be used
for other research purposes when applicable, and in written or oral presentations.
Contractual obligations between clients and Bare Roots Publishing
are described in the Request for Genealogical Services.
