The Korean War began on June 25, 1950 and ended with a truce on July 27, 1953. This Conflict, as it was called, took the lives of 33,629 American soldiers. Of that number, 426 of these men were from the City of Philadelphia. Included in this list is the name of the soldier, his rank and branch of service as well as the circumstance of his death.
